How to access your .gpx maps
Purchase maps and download
Purchase our maps or use the QR codes within our book Bicycle Tour Taiwan, Roads above the Clouds. Download the file folder to access to your computer or smartphone.

Open the .gpx files in your route or map app.
To open and use your .gpx files you will first need to download a map and route app. There are many excellent apps out there that use OpenStreeMap as their basis. These apps can import and open the files. We recommend Komoot as a great tool for planning and cataloguing your tours. We are not affiliated at all, we just like their style. There are plenty of free apps out there to choose from (most cyclists have their favorite).
If you wish to import the .gpx files into Google, first you will need to log into your google account using your desktop browser and upload the files there.

Add your own adventure
Once you have uploaded the files to your app you can edit and chance the maps as you please. The original routes match exactly our book's daily itineraries so do not alter the maps if you intend to follow along with our journeys.
